There will be a meeting for all members of the sophomore class on Tuesday, Nov. 24th to start the planning for Silver Lake's Got Talent. Anyone interested in helping out with this event should report to Rm. 1108 at 2:10 PM. Please see Ms. Robak or Ms. Enwright for details.

Need community service? Volunteers are needed for "Breakfast with Santa" at the Kingston Elementary School on Saturday, Dec.5th from 7:00 AM to Noon. Please sign up in Guidance.

Saturday Detention will be held this Saturday, Nov. 21st. Please enter on the Lake Street side of the building into the Cafeteria. See Mrs. Flynn in Rm. 1101 after school with any questions.

The Food Drive will begin Monday, Nov. 16th. Please bring any non-perishable food items to Rm. 2310 before or after school. Monetary donations are also welcome. All donated items will be distributed throughout shelters in Halifax, Kingston and Plympton.

The Freshman Fundraiser will begin on Friday, Nov. 13th. Freshman will receive an order form for the pasta products during English class on Friday. The top seller will win a CASH PRIZE! All completed orders must be returned to Mrs. Napolitano by Monday, Nov. 30th. See the freshman bulletin board for more information.

Seniors - Does one or more of your parents work in a Union? If so, you may be eligible to qualify for the AFL-CIO Scholarship. See Mr. Garofalo or your guidance counselor for more details.

Seniors - This is the last week that caps and gowns are still $25. Beginning Monday, Nov. 2nd, the price is $30. See Mrs. Gould in Rm. 2306.

This is a reminder that if you received free or reduced lunch last year, does not automatically entitle you to free or reduced lunch this year. You must reapply each year. Any student who has been receiving free or reduced lunch based on last year's application, will no longer be entitled to a free or reduced lunch and you will be asked to pay for lunch. Applications are available in the Main Office.
