Silver Lake Middle School is a community built on respect, responsibility, and academic excellence. Our mission, in collaboration with students’ families and the larger communities, is to foster social, emotional, and academic growth in our middle level learners. In a healthy, safe environment, students are challenged by rigorous academics and encouraged by dedicated staff to discover and embrace their own unique abilities and talents. We seek to promote a pattern of lifelong learning that will best enable our students to be contributing members of society and meet with success in a rapidly changing world.

Silver Lake Regional Middle School

When: The Fall activity sign-ups will begin the week of September 7. Activities will begin the week of September 14, 2009.

Sessions are held Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:50 until 3:00. The weekly schedule will be posted in various locations around the school, on the Middle School web page and announced daily during homeroom.

What: The following activities are offered:

FALL: Cross Country (Team, no try-outs necessary), Flag Football, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis and In-door Games.

WINTER: Basketball, Fitness, Volleyball, Basketball Team (Try- out's necessary)

SPRING: Floor Hockey, Softball, Track & Field

* The number of sessions held will depend on the sign up response for each activity.

Where: Meet in the gym after school.

Who: All 7^th and 8^th grade students are invited.

Cost: $40.00 Pay only once and this covers all activities, all year.

Please make checks payable to: Silver Lake Regional Middle School.

Payment will be accepted beginning Monday, September 7.

LATE BUSSES are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
