Silver Lake Middle School is a community built on respect, responsibility, and academic excellence. Our mission, in collaboration with students’ families and the larger communities, is to foster social, emotional, and academic growth in our middle level learners.  In a healthy, safe environment, students are challenged by rigorous academics and encouraged by dedicated staff to discover and embrace their own unique abilities and talents.  We seek to promote a pattern of lifelong learning that will best enable our students to be contributing members of society and meet with success in a rapidly changing world.

Principals Honor Roll ~ A student must receive an A+, A and/or an A- in all subjects for a term to be awarded a Principals Honor Roll Certificate.

Honor Roll ~  A student must receive a B- or better in all subjects for a term to be awarded an Honor Roll Certificate.

Late Busses
Late busses will begin on Monday September 14. Late busses are available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. All students must have a pass from a teacher and must wait in the cafeteria. The busses arrive at the school approx. 3:00pm.  All students taking a late bus must wait in the cafeteria in order to take the late bus home. All students not taking the late bus must be picked up in the cafeteria no later than 3:00pm or the student must get on his/her bus to go home.

      Instructions for BUS PASSES:  No BUS PASSES until further notice.
